Funeral Service and Cremation

Please choose below the Crematorium where you would like the funeral to take place. 

This fee is for use of chapel, cremation and all services at Barry Crematorium

This fee is for use of chapel, cremation and all services at Thornhill Crematorium in either The Briwnant or The Wenalt Chapel

If required, your loved one can be dressed in their own clothes or one of our funeral gowns. Funeral gowns are £50 each.

This is optional. 

You can choose whether the deceased is to be embalmed, or not.

The celebrant will meet the family prior to the funeral and help put the service together as is appropriate for the deceased. The celebrant will be at the chapel on the day to conduct and guide the service.  Members of the family, or friends, may also speak at the funeral service and share memories etc.

Our Limousine can transport up to six people. This cost includes collecting the family from home and onto the crematorium. After the service the limousine will transport the family to the reception or back to their home.

Further limousines can be arranged at £310.00 each

If you prefer. you may have a horse drawn or motorbike hearse on request.  When a horse drawn or motorbike hearse is chosen there is no charge for a motor hearse unless the motor hearse is also used to transport flowers etc that will not fit in the horse drawn or motorbike hearse

You can have several pieces of music for the funeral service at Barry or Thornhill Crematoria chapels, including hymns if required, at no extra cost

There is no charge for a single photograph on the chapel screen at Barry or Thornhill Crematoria

This is optional. 

During the funeral service a 25 photograph tribute or family supplied video set to a piece of music of your choice can be shown on the chapel screen at Barry or Thornhill Crematoria. You will be emailed an online login link to upload your photographs or video. If you prefer, you can let us have the photographs or video file and we will do all the work for you (there is an additional fee of £65 per funeral for our work on digital support if required).

This is optional. If you prefer, you may have the funeral in a place of worship or other venue prior to cremation or burial. The celebrant would then be the vicar, parish priest or other member of the clergy or religious leader. Different venue's charge different amounts, as do the clergy. We will be happy to supply prices and arrange this for you. There would be an additional charge for funeral home staff attending a place of worship or other venue prior to burial or cremation.
